Environmental education: Río Gallegos builds a Flora and Fauna Interpretation Center in Mata Verde Reserve

The **Municipality of Río Gallegos** (Santa Cruz) has started the construction of an **Interpretation Center of Flora and Fauna** in the **Mata Verde Natural Reserve**, an area previously known as ex Startel. This represents a key advancement in **environmental education** within the region.

The project involves an investment exceeding **$300 million**, entirely financed with **municipal funds**.

Geodesic structures and trails integrated into the landscape

The project includes the installation of **seven elevated geodesic structures**, designed to serve as **viewpoints, nurseries, and greenhouses**. Additionally, **pedestrian trails** will be developed, carefully planned to respect the **terrain morphology** and not disrupt the local ecosystem.
