During this weekend, a **[greyhound race](https://noticiasambientales.com/animales/nueva-zelanda-prohibira-las-carreras-de-galgos-por-riesgos-a-la-vida-de-los-animales/)** was dismantled in **San Juan**. The activity is prohibited in the province, and as a result, approximately **20 people were arrested**.
It happened in the department of 9 de Julio. Authorities managed to locate the event thanks to a **coordinated police operation** by personnel from the San Juan Police Unit No.1 and No.3 and the 11th Police Station.

The race was going to take place in the middle of a field located on **Balboa and Costa Canal street**. When the Police arrived at the area, which was already crowded, a practically massive exodus occurred.
