Mendoza is taking a firm step towards sustainability and energy savings with the installation of solar panels in 100 schools in the province.

The plan has a dual objective:
– Generating clean energy, reducing the carbon footprint.
– Optimizing public spending, achieving significant economic savings.

## First stage: installation of solar energy in 20 schools
In this initial phase, the works have already been awarded in 20 establishments, which will be intervened by the companies Wynne Industrial SRL and Sumpetrol SA.

In the coming days, both companies will start with:
– Technical surveys to assess installation conditions.
– Preliminary tasks, leading to the installation of photovoltaic systems.

## Public-private alliance for sustainable development
This project is carried out thanks to a strategic collaboration with the private sector, allowing:
– Modernizing school infrastructure, improving its energy efficiency.
– Promoting environmental education, raising awareness among new generations.
– Enhancing sustainability, combining efforts for a positive impact on the community.

## Student participation and training in renewable energies
The program also includes the training of students from technical schools, who will collaborate in the installation of the panels through professional practices.

“This experience will allow them to acquire key competencies in the energy transition, preparing them for future job opportunities,” explained Carlos Daparo, Deputy Secretary of School Infrastructure in a statement.

## Environmental education and commitment to the environment
School Infrastructure has signed an agreement with the Civil Association Valor Tres, which provides educational resources through its Energy ConCiencia program.

This agreement includes:
– Workshops on climate change.
– Carbon footprint measurements, promoting sustainable habits.
– Reforestation and environmental conservation plans.
– Educational games, to encourage interactive learning about sustainability.

## A joint effort towards a greener Mendoza
The program is supported by Netzefy and the Water Fund, two key players in the private sector committed to community work and sustainability.

“We want self-sufficient schools, generating their own energy and achieving substantial savings. The goal is to reach 100 establishments in the next two years,” reiterated Daparo.

With this plan, Mendoza reaffirms its commitment to a modern, efficient, and environmentally responsible public education.
