The province of Buenos Aires has some hidden treasures ideal for spending a few days outdoors enjoying nature and all its charms. An example of this is the Cifuentes waterfall, located between the towns of Tres Arroyos and Coronel Dorrego, a place that surprises with its beauty and magnitude.
It is an 8-meter high waterfall, being the tallest waterfall in the province. Situated among rock formations, forests, and a varied biodiversity, this waterfall is part of the impressive course of the Quequén River, offering a unique experience for nature lovers.
This waterfall, resulting from a geographical accident, was named Cifuentes in honor of the owner of the lands where it is located, although it is also known as Aldaya Waterfall.
To get there, you must take National Route No. 3 at kilometer 532, and then take the rural road downhill. Once on this road, you must descend until you reach the waterfall. Upon arrival, visitors will have the opportunity to marvel at an environment full of forests and ideal views to breathe fresh air and connect with nature.
