According to CAME, tourists spent $196.233 million in the cities of the tourist circuit. Although there were 2.3% fewer tourists compared to the same weekend in 2022, total spending increased by 9.8% in real terms. Each tourist spent an average of $70,083 per day, with an average stay of two days.

Most Crowded Cities

Among the most crowded cities were Mendoza, Mar del Plata, Cariló, Mar de las Pampas, Tandil, General Belgrano, Carlos Paz, Esteros del Iberá, San Rafael, Salta, Bariloche, Puerto Madryn, El Calafate, Puerto Iguazú, CABA, Concordia, and Federación.

In Corrientes, the tourist movement was intense, with an average hotel occupancy of 75% and a stay of three nights. Ituzaingó, Bella Vista, and Paso de la Patria were some of the highlighted destinations with events like the Torneo de Pesca del Surubí and the Fiesta de la Naranja. Formosa also had over 70% tourist occupancy, with various recreational and cultural activities.

Chaco and Other Regions

In Chaco, hotel occupancy was mixed, with a general average of 50%. The Central-Southwest region reached 66% occupancy, while the Littoral and Impenetrable regions had a more moderate performance. The average spending per person was $60,000, with an average stay of two days.
