Central Ahorro celebrates its first anniversary and consolidates its distributor model with social and environmental impact.

One year after its launch, **Central Ahorro**, the distributor of **Trasa** focused on **financial inclusion**, consolidates its business model with social, environmental, and economic impact.

The company was recently certified as a B Corporation, along with Trasa’s recertification, reaffirming its commitment to the **triple impact**.

Local Stores: focus on local development

Central Ahorro works to **strengthen small businesses** in popular neighborhoods, especially in **CABA and the southern area of Buenos Aires**, where its warehouse is located. Through a territorial survey, the company identified the needs of local businesses and began offering them **special prices** with the aim of **boosting their growth**.

In a second stage, it is planned to add **training, financing lines, and personalized support** so that these businesses can **develop sustainably**.

Environmental Management: responsible logistics and active recycling

As a company with a strong logistical component, Central Ahorro began **measuring its carbon footprint**, including the use of trucks, energy in offices, and administrative operations. Additionally, it implemented a comprehensive waste management plan, with waste separation at the source within the warehouse and **environmental training for its employees**.

So far, **more than 600 kilos of materials have been recycled**, and the promotion of **good environmental practices** throughout the operation continues.

Social Impact Alliances: conscious products and collaborative network

Central Ahorro began to create **strategic alliances** with other B Corporations to **expand the offering of products with a positive impact**.

Currently, it distributes products from **Porta Hermanos** and **Zafrán**, two companies committed to **conscious eating and sustainability**, marking the beginning of a **collaborative network with purpose**.

From Central Card to Central Ahorro: evolution with impact

The story of Central Ahorro began as **Central Card**, a small distributor in Barracas (CABA). Later, **Pier Descuentos** was added, located in Sarandí (Avellaneda), and the merger of both gave rise to the current business unit. The growth was **organic and territorial**, and today the company projects itself with its **own digital platform and a wholesale e-commerce**.

To achieve this, **logistics technology** was incorporated, with exclusive software, efficiency measurements in routes and delivery times, and a strategy of **continuous professionalization**.

Trasa Ecosystem: financial inclusion and territorial reach

Central Ahorro currently supplies **more than 1000 stores**, focusing on **popular neighborhoods**.

In parallel with its operational growth, the company seeks to **expand its territorial reach**, taking advantage of the **Trasa ecosystem**, which integrates solutions for financial inclusion and local development.
