The modernization of public lighting in San Vicente advances: Three new neighborhoods now have LED technology.

The San Vicente Municipality has completed the conversion to LED technology in three neighborhoods of the district, a measure aimed at providing greater security, efficiency, and significant savings in energy consumption for the community.

In recent days, the final works were carried out for the installation of LED lighting in the Versalles neighborhood of Alejandro Korn, as well as in the Eva Perón and Pueblo de la Paz neighborhoods in the city of San Vicente. With this phase completed, all the streets in these three areas now have this modern LED lighting technology.

Regarding this, Mayor Nicolás Mantegazza stated: “We continue working so that every corner of San Vicente has modern, sustainable, and quality lighting. Each new luminaire is one more step towards a safer and more organized city.”

LED lighting for residents

The mayor also added that thanks to these improvements there will be “safer streets. San Vicente continues to light up, we add two new neighborhoods with 100% LED lighting in the Eva Perón and Pueblo de la Paz neighborhoods. But this doesn’t end here, we will continue illuminating every neighborhood in the district.”

On the other hand, Chief of Staff Daniela Lassalle highlighted the work done in Alejandro Korn and emphasized that “Versalles now has LED lighting on all its blocks, in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Alejandro Korn.”

The adoption of LED lighting not only results in a substantial improvement in visibility and security on public roads, but also brings significant environmental and economic benefits.

This technology is capable of reducing energy consumption by up to 50% compared to traditional lamps, which helps reduce the carbon footprint and allows for more efficient use of public resources.

LED Technology

Additionally, LED lights have greater durability and require much less maintenance, thus guaranteeing a constant and high-quality lighting service for residents.

With the completion of these works, more families in the district can enjoy better-lit streets, promoting safer public spaces and a more livable environment for everyone.
