A glamping project in Necochea aims to boost ecotourism with a sustainable complex at Camping Las Grutas

In Necochea, the opening of bids was held for the concession of the Right of Use and Exploitation of Camping Las Grutas. The initiative includes the development of a tourist complex under the concept of glamping.

The event took place in the “Dr. Domingo Taraborelli” Hall of Acts. In this context, it will be evaluated whether the proposal meets the formal requirements before its possible consideration in the Deliberative Council.

Additionally, the project provides for a twenty-year concession. In this way, it seeks to ensure continuity in investment and consolidate an innovative tourist offer.

Modern infrastructure in harmony with the natural environment

The plan includes the installation of twelve habitable units. These will be divided into six standard and six superior category, some with jacuzzi.

Likewise, the structures will be built with resistant and insulating materials. This will allow for ensuring thermal comfort and durability without affecting the environment.

On the other hand, additional units are projected for special events. Consequently, the capacity of the complex will be expanded without altering its ecological design.

Sustainable design and wellness spaces

One of the central axes will be respect for the environment. Therefore, the internal paths will have a natural layout with white stone finishes.

Additionally, the premises will have a caretaker’s house, which will facilitate continuous maintenance. This presence will ensure the permanent care of the space.

Among the highlighted facilities is a multipurpose dome with a capacity for up to 100 people. Added to this is a biopool that will operate without chemicals, through natural filtration with plants.

Furthermore, a wellness dome is planned for spa, yoga, and meditation. Another similar space is also planned for the holding of events.

The advantages of ecotourism

The development of ecotourism offers multiple environmental and social benefits. Firstly, it promotes a responsible use of natural resources.

Furthermore, it encourages the conservation of ecosystems by integrating low-impact infrastructure. This allows for the preservation of landscapes and biodiversity.

On the other hand, it boosts sustainable local economies. Consequently, it generates employment without compromising the environmental balance.

Additionally, it strengthens environmental awareness among visitors. In this way, it promotes a more respectful relationship with nature.

Projection and challenges for sustainable tourism in Necochea

The project contemplates a three-year construction period. During the first stage, the main infrastructure will be executed, while the following stages will include expansions.

However, its completion will depend on the corresponding administrative approval. Therefore, the institutional process will be decisive.

Finally, the initiative seeks to position Necochea as a sustainable tourism destination. In this sense, glamping is presented as an alternative that combines comfort and respect for the environment.
