“They were selling ‘capybara milanesa’: two capybara pups rescued”

An enraging situation that occurred in Santa Fe was reported on Wednesday. In a house, they were offering “capybara milanesa” and the police rescued two capybara pups.

It happened in the town of Pueblo Esther. The little animals were caged and were taken to a veterinary clinic.

The operation took place around 5:35 p.m., as local media reported. The Police intervened after a call alerted them about the commercialization of “capybara milanesas” in a house in that town.

Agents from the Eco-Brigade and Animal Rescue of the Police in Santa Fe intervened and found two capybara pups in poor health and hygiene conditions.

They were selling capybara meat at the location.

They were in a cage and were immediately taken to a veterinary clinic for specialized care.

Additionally, they found capybara meat from an adult specimen in a freezer and six dead otters.

The police authorities are looking into possible responsibilities for illegal slaughtering of animal species.

The case that outraged the world: pigeon meat sold as “lacquered duck”

Not long ago, a similar case was reported, in which they violated all hygiene and health regulations, causing outrage at a transatlantic level.

The establishment, called Jin Gu, stored over a ton of food in deplorable conditions and offered it to customers under fake dish names.

One of the cases was pigeon meat, which they sold as “lacquered duck.” Additionally, they indicated that, based on two specimens they found, they killed the animals by kicking them.

The police officers even found up to 300 kilos of decomposing food, meat hanging, and rat traps with baits of rancid meat.
