On Wednesday, a successful Zoonosis operation was carried out in Quilmes: 60 domestic animals were neutered. Additionally, rabies vaccines were administered to the dogs and cats that the neighbors brought.
Organized by the municipality, it took place at the San Francisco Promotion Society, located at 812 Nº 2462. This Thursday, the second day will be held in the same place.
### How the Zoonosis operation works in Quilmes
60 turns are given per day, and the neutering schedule starts at 8:30 am. Vaccination, on the other hand, is from 12 pm to 1:30 pm.

“With the Zoonosis trailer, which is our mobile operating room, we continue to provide neutering and rabies vaccination services throughout the district,” expressed the local Secretary of Health, Carolina Begue.
“This policy promoted by our mayor Mayra Mendoza is related to animal population control and preventing diseases in both our pets and people,” she added.
Attention is on a first-come, first-served basis, with the animal present (mandatory). It is requested that the dog or cat undergoing the procedure fast for 12 hours.
Moreover, they must come with a warm blanket. Cats must be brought in a net bag and dogs with a muzzle and leash.
### Upcoming days and times
The operations are carried out every Wednesday and Thursday of February, according to the following schedule: February 19 and 20, at Plaza Papa Francisco (Los Andes, in front of CAPS Villa Itatí); and February 26 and 27, at the El Sol Promotion Society (860 and 883 bis, Solano).
Those who need to neuter their dogs or cats can approach the operations, or schedule an appointment in person at the Zoonosis Center (Hipólito Yrigoyen Avenue 273, Quilmes Centro). The ID must be brought to prove residency in Quilmes.
Present during the day were the Zoonosis General Director Maximiliano Di Leo, and the Public Entities Director Martina Bonanata.
