- If you detect an anomaly in your appliances or installation, contact the manufacturer’s technical service or a certified gas fitter to have it checked.
- Maintain the natural gas installation in proper conditions, with good ventilation, and make correct use of the appliances.
- Have a certified installer periodically check your gas installation and appliances.
- Before enclosing spaces, consult a certified gas fitter to ensure the suitability of the natural gas installation for the new conditions, ensuring the necessary permanent ventilation conditions for safe use of environments and appliances.
- The combustion product outlet pipe is essential for the proper functioning of the appliances that require it. Contact a certified gas fitter to have it installed following current regulations.
- Monitor the condition of the flexible connection tubes. Only install high-security flexible tubes approved for natural gas.
- Resins are not approved, and the use of corrosive solutions, water, or other unauthorized fluids to detect leaks is prohibited. Using them despite the ban will require the replacement of the affected pipe.
- A stable and blue flame ensures proper combustion is occurring.
- Avoid extinguishing the burner flame while cooking. If the flame soot stains the pots, contact the manufacturer’s technical service or call a certified gas fitter.
- Only MetroGAS is authorized to install or modify a gas installation outside of their residence.
