An Argentinian prefabricated house began to make its way in the market. It is the model sold by a company from Córdoba, constructed in concrete.

It can be installed in one day and can be easily relocated, being one of the most interesting options for those seeking housing alternatives like a more sustainable own house or for tourism ventures.

This is “Hüga,” the Argentinian prefabricated house

This type of housing is called a tiny house, and in the case of this company, they named it “Hüga.” On their official site, they explain that once the site where the house will be placed is established, you only need to connect electricity, water, and sewer, as it comes fully equipped.

“Hüga” is a Danish term that expresses everything that conveys happiness and well-being.

“Based on this concept, our interest arose in developing a unique, different project, combining a set of highly potential ideas merged in the design, construction, and marketing,” details the company’s description.

“This prefabricated house is the result of years of work by a multidisciplinary team from Córdoba who finally achieved a product with high standards in design and technology, highly versatile,” they indicate.

It can be quickly adapted to changes, based on the tastes and needs of its inhabitants. Hüga is a reinforced concrete dwelling, easy to maintain, safe, automated, and of high quality and design.

Relocatable in a day and reduction of energy consumption

The prefabricated house “Hüga” has a covered area of 45 square meters that includes the following spaces:

  • Kitchen and living-dining room.
  • Bedroom.
  • Relax zone -mezzanine with space for a double mattress-.
  • Zoned bathroom.

“Its dimensions are 3.90 x 3.90 x 11 m. in development. This exceeds the surface area and quality of habitability of the modules known in some countries of the continent like tiny cabins,” details the description of the prefabricated house built in Córdoba.

This is how container houses look like. Sustainable construction.

For the construction of a prefabricated house, a system of lightweight polymer mold and formwork equipment was chosen. They were specifically designed to build the “structural shell” of the house in a limited construction time.

“Once the rough construction stage is completed, that is the reinforced concrete stage, work proceeds inside to provide the house with excellent levels of finishing and materials aimed at achieving the greatest comfort, habitability, and lower energy consumption,” assure its creators.
