Nature and Textile Design: The entrepreneurship that uses Patagonian plants through ancestral techniques.

In Aluminé, Neuquén, the young entrepreneur Ain Nieva has developed “Ain Textil Natural”, an innovative project that merges nature and textile design through ancestral dyeing and printing techniques with Patagonian plants and organic waste.

Her initiative arises as a sustainable alternative in a textile industry marked by the use of polluting chemicals, offering products that are responsible with the environment and the community.

An artisanal and ecological approach with Patagonian plants

Her venture includes:

  • Clothing and accessories with natural dyes.
  • Recycled textile scraps to minimize waste.
  • Dyeing and printing services for other brands.

“I started when I became aware of the reality of the textile industry, one of the most polluting on the planet. I wanted to create a conscious and sustainable alternative, where design is nourished by nature without harming it,” explains Ain to the LM Neuquén portal.

The positive impact on the community

In addition to her venture, Ain is a teacher at the Centro de Iniciación Artística N°7 in Aluminé, where she teaches workshops on textile art with a sustainable approach.

“The venture was born out of self-management. It allows me to organize my time and decisions, complementing my passion for teaching with the creativity of textiles,” she points out.

Challenges of undertaking in Aluminé

While entrepreneurship provides independence and freedom, it also implies constant challenges:

  • Economic uncertainty, due to the lack of fixed income.
  • Full self-management, where every decision depends on the entrepreneur.
  • Perseverance and adaptation, facing obstacles with creativity.

“You have to move forward step by step, facing fears and insecurities. Entrepreneurship requires will and perseverance, but the impact it generates is worth it,” concludes Ain.
