America’s Ecopark digitizes its members and solidarity contributions to care for animals grow by 40%

The Ecoparque de América has incorporated the CuotaQ solidarity platform to centralize its national membership base and receive more donations.

The alliance allows receiving contributions from anywhere in the country and sustaining the rescue and conservation tasks it has been carrying out for 35 years.

The Ecoparque de América goes digital: the new system and its benefits

The Ecological Complex of América, located in the Rivadavia district 500 kilometers from the Federal Capital, now allows interested parties to join and contribute from any city, regardless of their place of residence.

“The acceptance of the community towards our work is very high, and this new scheme gives us the tools to sustain it over time,” highlighted Adelmar Funk, director of the center.

This is especially relevant considering that the previous system relied on collectors visiting homes one by one.

This costly and impractical mechanism was completely transformed with digitalization, which facilitates the way of attracting and maintaining members of the ecopark.

“We always had members who supported us, but the payment system we used until recently was unfeasible,” explains Funk about the limitations of the previous model.

Thanks to the alliance with CuotaQ, the number of contributors increased by 40%.

The platform offers an agile panel with digital credentials, automatic reminders, and real-time statistics.

Diego Tonnietti, founder of CuotaQ, explains that the platform solves “a problem we saw repeated in many organizations: the difficulty of managing members simply and transparently.”

“Our challenge was to transform the ecopark’s old process into a clear digital experience, which not only facilitates internal work but also strengthens the bond of trust with the community,” highlights Tonnietti.

The Ecoparque de América receives between 500 and 1000 visitors every weekend who pay their entrance fee.

Thus, this new modality complements these revenues and expands the support network beyond local limits.

Ecoparque de América: the problem of remoteness

The Ecoparque is located within the Rivadavia district, close to the border with La Pampa and just over 500 kilometers from the Federal Capital.

As noted by the entity, “the remoteness from large cities has always been a complexity when it comes to being in contact with members, volunteers, and contributors.”

This is what CuotaQ comes to solve: a simple automatic debit to contribute from anywhere and expand the support community.

This facilitates “more people joining the conservation of the natural heritage,” a fundamental work of the Ecoparque.

The important role of the Ecoparque de América: a conservation model in the Buenos Aires plain

The complex operates on 40 hectares within a forest of 354 hectares in the middle of the Buenos Aires plain, close to the border with La Pampa.

For 35 years, it has been rescuing animals from circuses, closed zoos, cases of abuse, and seizures due to illegal trafficking.

“We strive to recreate their environments by imitating the biomes where the species live in nature and by giving them all a generous space so they have the possibility to express their behaviors,” explains Funk.

The forest’s unique microclimate and its vegetal diversity create a privileged environment for the rescued animals.

The tasks cover environmental issues in an integral way: botany, wildlife, forests, and sustainability.

The ecopark also develops a pioneering genetic bank that preserves material from endangered species for their reintroduction in different provinces and the recovery of wild populations.

Thus, the Ecoparque highlights its work on its website: “Our greatest commitment is to the rehabilitation and return to nature of all the rescued animals that can be recovered.”

“But we also offer a place, a refuge, to all the animals that, unfortunately, cannot be returned to their habitat, functioning as a rescue center and refuge for wild animals,” they add.

Thus, this technological alliance allows the Ecological Complex of América to sustain its conservation, animal rescue, and environmental education programs.
