Madrid: Pigeon meat and serious health violations in a restaurant
The closed establishment was a Chinese restaurant located in the district of Usera, in the Spanish capital. The Municipal Police led an operation a few days ago and uncovered a series of alarming health violations.

The establishment, called Jin Gu, was storing over a ton of food in deplorable conditions and offering it to customers under false dish names.
One of the cases was pigeon meat, which they were selling as “Peking duck”. Additionally, they indicated that, based on two specimens they found, they were killing the animals by kicking them.
The police officers even found up to 300 kilos of decomposing food, hanging meat, and rat traps with baits of spoiled meat.
