State of the facilities and community complaints

During the inspection, residents and authorities checked the inspection chamber where sewage overflowed recently, flooding the area.

“Today the chamber is completely drained,” the residents stated after verification.

Additionally, other environmental concerns were addressed:

  • Loss of absorbent spaces due to the construction of a new street located behind the Clean Garden workshop, the company in charge of park maintenance.
  • Ecological impact on the athletics track, where owls reside, affected by concerts and loud explosions during sporting events.

The file related to the complaint is registered under the number MPF 1158339 in the city’s prosecution office.

Residents assured that they will continue providing evidence and documents to strengthen the protection of Parque Sarmiento, promoting its conservation and respect for the urban natural richness.

The community hopes that the authorities will intervene with effective solutions, ensuring a healthy environment for residents and native species.
