Paraguay outlines path to resilience: regional leaders discuss future of modern agriculture in Rural Horizon

Authorities, producers, and international experts have come together to design strategies that strengthen family farming and promote resilient agricultural development in the face of climate change.

ASUNCION. Paraguay’s agricultural sector has a date with the future. This Wednesday, July 9, the Casa de la Integración de CAF became the epicenter of a crucial dialogue on the challenges and opportunities facing the national countryside at the event “Horizonte Rural: Challenges and opportunities towards an efficient, competitive, and sustainable development of the Agricultural Sector in Paraguay”.

The call by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG) and CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean – brought together a wide range of actors: from government authorities to grassroots producers, including representatives of multilateral organizations and productive associations.
