For the protection of the environment, on Tuesday morning, the Mayor of San Vicente, Nicolás Mantegazza, together with Governor Axel Kicillof, inaugurated the Post 3 of the Natural Reserve of the Lagoon and the Environmental Interpretation Center “Dr. Alberto De Magistris”. This progress towards sustainable development was possible thanks to the collaboration with the Minister of Environment of the Province of Buenos Aires, Daniela Vilar.

The new center aims to promote environmental education and encourage ecological habits in the community. In addition, 40 bicycles were delivered to boost ecological tourism and the solid waste management system was improved with new equipment.

Mantegazza also announced the expansion of the Natural Reserve of the Lagoon of San Vicente, which will go from 130 to 280 hectares. He also mentioned the existence of other posts, such as 1 and 2, and the future implementation of Post 4, which will feature eco bicycles to explore and appreciate the natural heritage of the area.

During the inauguration of Post 3, Mantegazza highlighted the importance of planning the city in an organized and sustainable manner: “It is to think and plan the city in a coherent and environmentally respectful way”.

He also emphasized that “with management and commitment, we continue to transform San Vicente into a more ecological city and prepared for the future.

With the protection of the environment, we are building a greener and more sustainable future for everyone. This heritage belongs to San Vicente, but it is also a treasure for all Buenos Aires residents,” highlighting the importance of preserving and protecting this natural space for future generations.
