San Vicente is making progress in environmental protection.

For the protection of the environment, on Tuesday morning, the Mayor of San Vicente, Nicolás Mantegazza, together with Governor Axel Kicillof, inaugurated the Post 3 of the Natural Reserve of the Lagoon and the Environmental Interpretation Center “Dr. Alberto De Magistris”. This progress towards sustainable development was possible thanks to the collaboration with the Minister of Environment of the Province of Buenos Aires, Daniela Vilar.

The new center aims to promote environmental education and encourage ecological habits in the community. In addition, 40 bicycles were delivered to boost ecological tourism and the solid waste management system was improved with new equipment.
