Santa Cruz promotes rural tourism to diversify production and strengthen territorial roots

Santa Cruz advances in a comprehensive strategy to boost rural tourism as a development engine. Therefore, the Ministry of Production coordinates actions with the Banco Santa Cruz with soft credit lines aimed at rural establishments.

These financial tools aim to diversify productive activities. At the same time, they aim to strengthen tourism proposals in natural environments. In this way, more balanced and sustainable economic growth is promoted.

The initiative integrates tourism, production, and conservation of the territory. Additionally, it recognizes rural tourism as a key complementary activity. Therefore, it aims to add value without replacing traditional tasks.

Survey to understand productive interest

In parallel, a preliminary survey was launched throughout the province. This form allows for gauging the interest of agricultural producers. Thus, the foundations are laid for planning according to local reality.

The survey is not binding. However, it serves as a strategic first step. Based on this information, credits can be designed to meet real needs.

The call reaches both those starting and those already offering rural tourism. In this way, a diverse and growing sector is strengthened. Additionally, participation of small and medium producers is encouraged.

Production, tourism, and rooting in the territory

The provincial government highlights the value of this joint work. The goal is to support the productive sector with concrete tools. Thus, investments that remain in the territory are encouraged.

The rural tourism emerges as a response to complex economic contexts. Therefore, it is conceived as an alternative that generates additional income. At the same time, it reinforces rooting and local identity.

This public policy aims to strengthen the Santa Cruz productive fabric. Additionally, it promotes new opportunities without losing the community scale. In this way, development is directly linked to environmental care.
