The city of Alta Gracia was selected from more than 700 applications worldwide to join the Youth Climate Action Fund, driven by Bloomberg Philanthropies. In this way, it joins the group of 300 local governments chosen to promote environmental projects led by young people.
This recognition highlights the technical and institutional work of the municipality in developing proposals aligned with local environmental challenges and global climate action objectives, consolidating its position within the international agenda.
Call for “Green Action in Alta Gracia 2026-2027”
Starting on July 15, the call will open for social organizations, educational institutions, clubs, and community entities. The goal is to fund projects designed and led by young people aged 15 to 24.
The proposals may address topics such as:
- Clean energies.
- Circular economy.
- Biodiversity and conservation.
- Sustainable mobility.
- Agroecology.
- Urban forestry.
- Environmental education.
The selected projects will receive non-repayable microfinancing and technical support from the municipality. The call will be open until August 15 at 12 PM, with bases available on official channels.
