This process aims to ensure the correct **waste management**, avoiding negative impacts on the **Aconcagua Provincial Park**.

The company **Felipe Andreu e Hijos SA** was the **winner of the tender**, with a total service cost of **$12.2 million**.
According to the **Compr.Ar** system, only two suppliers participated in the call, but ultimately there was only one offer that **fit the budget** and met the required technical specifications.
## Collection and Transfer Operation Details at Cerro Aconcagua
The service includes the transfer of **890 drums of dry fecal matter**, with a total volume of **40 m³**, from the **Aconcagua Provincial Park** to the **final deposition center in El Borbollón, Las Heras**.
For the operation, the company will provide:
– **Two semi-trailer units** for transportation.
– **One crane unit** for loading and unloading the drums.
– **Specialized personnel** for manual loading, adapted to the operational conditions.
Additionally, the service includes the **certification of the process** issued by the environmental **control agency**.
## Inspection and Procedure Supervision
The **Ministry of Energy of Mendoza**, through an inspection on **March 25**, verified the presence of the containers at the temporary deposit in **Horcones**.
According to the survey, the waste is stored in various types of drums:
– **93 200-liter metal drums** (18,600 l).
– **119 40-liter metal drums** (4,760 l).
– **521 10-liter cardboard drums** (5,210 l).
– **155 20-liter metal drums** (3,100 l).
– **2 50-liter plastic drums** (100 l).
The total accumulated is **31,770 liters**, representing an approximate volume of **37 to 40 m³**.
## Final Waste Treatment at El Borbollón
Once received at the **El Borbollón** plant, the waste will be **disposed of by a large bulldozer**, being **covered with other waste and clay soil** in layers of **up to 5 meters high**, ensuring their proper degradation.
