Since May 1, 2026, sport hunting has been banned in the Partido de Pergamino, as stipulated by the Directorate of Flora and Fauna of the Province of Buenos Aires. The measure aims to preserve biodiversity, ensure ecosystem balance, and enhance safety in rural areas.
The administrative provision DISPO-2026-71, Article 1° establishes a ban on minor sport hunting until August 2 in Pergamino and other districts such as General Alvear, Villarino, Lezama, and General Las Heras.

- Mass capture methods of birds and wild animals.
- Formation of hunting squads on foot or horseback.
