During the 21st Industry Conference, organized by the Entre Ríos Industrial Union (UIER) at the Provincial Convention Center in Paraná, Governor Rogelio Frigerio presented two key initiatives: the sending of a new Law on Environmental Management of Economic Activities and the creation of the Investment and Export Promotion Agency.
“We want investing in Entre Ríos to not only be an option, but the best decision,” Frigerio stated before national and provincial entrepreneurs, leaders, and specialists.
Recent Measures to Boost the Productive Sector
Credits, tax incentives, and green financing to strengthen the Entre Ríos industry.
Frigerio reviewed the actions of his administration related to production:
- Investment Regime (RINI): already committed $150 billion
- Credits for poultry sheds
- Green financing with CFI and Enersa
- Reduction of Gross Income Tax for services related to the poultry industry
“I know what it means to start a machine every morning in this difficult moment in Argentina. Supporting them is governing,” expressed the governor.
New Environmental Management Law: Agility Without Losing Control
The regulation seeks to modernize the current framework since 1978, reducing costs and procedures for companies.
The new law proposes:
- More administrative agility
- Less bureaucracy and paperwork
- Greater inclusion of companies in the environmental control system
“It does not mean less control, but more efficiency and more companies committed to the environment,” explained Frigerio.
Frigerio announced new Environmental Management Law and the creation of an Investment Promotion Agency
Investment and Export Promotion Agency
A strategic tool to position Entre Ríos on the global stage.
The agency will seek to:
- Attract national and international capital
- Promote exports of Entre Ríos products
- Improve provincial competitiveness
“It will be key to take a leap in quality in global competition,” highlighted the governor.
Industrial Sector Assessments: Confidence and Joint Work
The UIA and the UIER highlighted the productive potential of the province and dialogue with the State.
The president of the UIA, Martín Rappallini, emphasized the diversity of value chains in Entre Ríos: food, poultry, metal-mechanics, plastics, and wood. He highlighted the SME ecosystem that links agriculture, industry, and services.
On the other hand, Gabriel Bourdin, president of the UIER, valued the active collaboration with the provincial government and progress in the Industrial Promotion Law, the basis of the RINI. He pointed out that between June 2024 and June 2025, the job loss was minimal, reflecting the private sector’s commitment.
“The private company is the central actor in the economic and social development of Entre Ríos,” Bourdin concluded.
