The Ministry of Environment of the Province of Buenos Aires participates in the Bioferia 2026, which takes place from April 10 to 12 at the Palermo Racetrack. The environmental department supports the Banco Provincia stand with workshops open to the community and spaces for exchange on the environmental agenda.
Minister Daniela Vilar was present at a talk alongside environmental leaders, where the main challenges of current environmental policy were discussed, including the debate on the Glacier Law. Vilar highlighted the importance of maintaining regulatory frameworks that protect common goods and promoting public policies that integrate production, work, and environmental care.
Workshops and Activities
During the event, workshops on composting and gardening were held, aimed at promoting sustainable practices and providing concrete tools for environmental care in daily life. These proposals seek to bring the environmental agenda closer to the public and encourage active participation in building a sustainable development model.
Bioferia: The Largest Sustainable Festival in Latin America
The seventh edition of Bioferia turns the Palermo Racetrack into the epicenter of the regional sustainable movement. After attracting more than 45,000 people in its previous edition, the festival returns with an expanded proposal:
- More than eight stages and 12 thematic areas related to food, mobility, architecture, design, fashion, and even a mushroom observatory.
- Talks and workshops with experts on solutions for a conscious future.
- Wellness activities such as yoga, meditation, and fitness.
- Planting of native species to promote biodiversity.
- Conscious gastronomy with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.
- Sustainable art with immersive installations, live painting, and sculptures that redefine materials.

Music and Culture
The musical lineup includes Ainda, Rusea, Nación Ekeko, Manu Pozzi, and Astroluz, along with innovative proposals like ecstatic dance and coffee raves. Art also plays a central role with artists such as Romina Yurzola, Catalina Guerrico, Parley Argentina, and TACHA.
A Regional Movement
Bioferia has been held in Argentina since 2018 and celebrates its seventh edition in 2026. Besides Buenos Aires, it has had editions in Rosario and Córdoba, and international presence in Mexico, Chile, and Uruguay. It has established itself as the most popular sustainability festival in Latin America, bringing together companies, entrepreneurs, NGOs, and citizens committed to the shift towards a more conscious lifestyle.
The participation of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Environment in Bioferia 2026 reinforces the provincial commitment to environmental education, social justice, and sustainable development. Such spaces allow for strengthening the bond with the public and consolidating a regional movement that inspires habit transformation and the construction of a more conscious future.
