“CicloVida”: The UNLZ students’ video game to play and breathe better

A group of students from the subject Multimedia Design, belonging to the Advertising program of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the National University of Lomas de Zamora (UNLZ), is currently dedicated to the development of “CicloVida“.

It is an educational video game designed with the purpose of raising awareness among teenagers about sustainable mobility and environmental care.

The impetus for this project originates from the concern about the level of pollution generated by conventional means of transportation, as well as the need to instill sustainable habits from an early age.

Within the dynamics of “CicloVida“, participants must navigate through various urban scenarios, having to avoid polluting obstacles such as mountains of garbage, oil spills, and toxic gas emissions. As they progress, they unlock more ecological transportation options, ranging from bicycles to electric scooters. The educational goal is for them to learn how small daily decisions have the power to transform the environment and improve air quality.

Although the video game is still in its development phase, the team’s aspiration is for “CicloVida” to transcend academic boundaries. They aim for it to become a tool of genuine social impact, capable of integrating entertainment, education, and environmental awareness in a way that is appealing to the teenage and young audience.

The project is available for articles, interviews, and to provide visual material. Interested parties can establish communication through:
