Natura launches Biōme, its new line of solid products that redefines personal care with an innovative proposal of regenerative cosmetics.

This launch marks a milestone in the industry, offering products that not only care for the skin and hair, but also actively contribute to ecosystem regeneration.

Sustainability and Innovation

Biōme goes beyond traditional sustainability, integrating practices that restore nature at every stage of production. The packaging is made from recycled and recyclable paper, and each bar is coated with a biodegradable cellulose film.

In addition, the products are presented on a compostable bioresin holder, which captures methane and converts it into a sustainable resource, transforming a potentially harmful gas for the environment into a compostable and biodegradable material.

Commitment to Regeneration

Regenerative cosmetics seek to reverse the damage caused by human activity, and Biōme reflects that commitment. With highly effective formulas, it includes shampoos, bar conditioners, soaps, and other products designed to offer a complete and sustainable care experience.

Being solid products, they not only reduce water consumption in their production, decreasing usage by up to 80% compared to liquid products, but they also eliminate the need for plastics, promoting a cycle of responsible consumption.

Sustainable Production

For their production, the world’s first Agroforestry System for palm oil cultivation was used in Pará with Natura’s participation, in partnership with the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation (Embrapa) and the Mixed Agricultural Cooperative Tomé-Açu (Camta).

This system allowed the regeneration of soils previously eroded by monocultures, contributing to social and environmental regeneration. In addition to restoring the environment, this model generates more income opportunities for local farming families, diversifying their sources of income.

Inspired by how nature generates biomes, they have learned to replicate this process over the last 16 years. Today, they have 200 hectares and aim to reach 40,000 hectares by 2035.

Statements from Natura Argentina

Paola Nimo, Sustainability Manager of Natura Argentina, highlights: “With Biōme, we are taking a step beyond sustainability. It is an unprecedented line that demonstrates what it means to move towards regeneration. It reflects our commitment not only to reduce our impact, but to give back to sociobiodiversity more than we take. Biōme is a symbol of how cosmetics can contribute to a more balanced and harmonious future with the environment and the people who inhabit it, from its ingredients and production to its completion.”

This launch includes five bar products: daily use shampoo, moisturizing shampoo, conditioner, creamy soap, and exfoliating soap; as well as the accessory or bioresin soap dish for storage.
