The Ministry of Production of the Province of Buenos Aires, through resolution 340/2025, presented the new Continuous Improvement Program for Tourism in Buenos Aires.
It is an initiative that seeks to develop the tourist industry comprehensively and sustainably, with emphasis on professionalization of the sector and the use of evidence for strategic planning.

Universities, civil organizations, and private actors will work together to build tourism indicators.
The ministry led by Augusto Costa will promote actions in coordination with public and private universities, civil society organizations, professional associations, and business owners in the sector, with the aim of creating concrete proposals that contribute to the construction of reliable indicators about tourist activity throughout the province.
Territorial diagnosis and participatory planning
Regional working groups and joint strategies to enhance traditional and emerging destinations.
The program includes the creation of regional working groups to diagnose local needs, design joint strategies, and promote community participation in the identification of attractions, planning proposals, and enhancement of material and immaterial heritage.
It aims to strengthen territorial roots and promote tourism that respects local identities.

Training, impact measurement, and evaluation of public policies
Continuous training and economic analysis to improve tourism management.
Among its main focuses, the program includes in-person and virtual training sessions, tourist spending measurement operations, economic impact analysis, and evaluation of public policies applied to destination development.
These tools will allow monitoring results, adjusting strategies, and enhancing the quality of the tourist offer in Buenos Aires.
