Follow Me, the company specialized in manufacturing and customizing graduation clothing, reinforces its commitment to the community through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, Huella Solidaria, an initiative that focuses on sustainability and social inclusion through concrete actions.
Within this framework, one of the most outstanding actions is the “Leaving Our Mark” plan, a proposal that seeks to give a second useful life to textiles and unused garments, preventing them from becoming waste.
What is the “Huella Solidaria” initiative like?
The initiative not only reduces the environmental impact of textile discards, but also enhances social enterprises through fairs, sewing workshops, and art spaces that reuse these materials.
Many of these workshops offer training and create real opportunities for personal and economic development for participants.
Likewise, products from past seasons, surpluses, or items that do not meet the brand’s rigorous quality control are donated to soup kitchens, homes, and shelters, including: Fundación San Andrés, Virreyes Rugby, Fundación MQUN, Iglesia de la Ciudad, Cáritas San Luis, Jueves Diferentes, Colegio Madre Teresa, and Fundación Garrahan.
“Our commitment to the community translates into concrete actions that benefit different sectors in vulnerable situations. Every day we commit to different social causes, putting social assistance and environmental care at the forefront,” says Julián Cali, partner and Marketing Director of Follow Me.
Environmental care
Regarding environmental care, Julian Cali highlights: “We are the first textile company, in the graduation sector, to use Avitera technology, which is very sustainable for dyeing the clothes we manufacture.”
“The textile industry has a great responsibility in terms of environmental care, meeting the needs of the present without compromising those of future generations.”
Through Huella Solidaria, Follow Me reaffirms that fashion can be a tool for change: more conscious, more inclusive, and more committed to the environment.
