With investment in machinery and technical training, while caring for the natural heritage, cleaning and maintenance tasks of the water body and its surroundings are advancing.
The Municipality continues to carry out concrete actions for the recovery and enhancement of the Laguna de San Vicente, one of the main natural heritages of the district. In this stage, two backhoes were incorporated, and technical training was conducted to optimize the tasks of cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of the water body and its surroundings.
The new backhoes, recently added to the municipal vehicle fleet, will be used to remove sediments, accumulated vegetation, and other elements that affect the functioning and preservation of the lagoon, allowing for improved environmental conditions of the area.
As part of this initiative, the staff of the Public Services Secretariat received specific training on the operation and maintenance of the equipment, ensuring more efficient and safer work in the various planned interventions.
These actions are part of the development of the Distrito Laguna San Vicente, a strategic project promoted by Mayor Nicolás Mantegazza, which seeks to consolidate the Natural Reserve as a reference space for tourism, recreation, sports, and environmental care, also generating new opportunities for the district’s growth.
In this way, the Municipality reaffirms its commitment to environmental preservation and continues to invest in infrastructure, equipment, and planning to build a more sustainable San Vicente, with better services and a higher quality of life for the entire community.
