Innovation in solar energy does not stop. From Dallas, the company Janta Power has presented a disruptive proposal: three-dimensional solar panels in the form of modular vertical towers.
Unlike the flat, two-dimensional design of conventional panels, these structures aim to better harness solar radiation and significantly increase efficiency in clean energy generation.
Modular solar towers: adaptable and efficient design
Janta Power’s panels are organized into vertical solar towers, specifically designed for small spaces or uneven terrain.
This design allows for optimizing photovoltaic installation in places where space is a limited resource, offering a versatile solution for both dense urban areas and large-scale industrial projects.
Azimuthal solar tracking: energy that follows the sun
One of the most outstanding features of this technology is its azimuthal tracking system, which orients the panels to follow the east-west movement of the sun throughout the day. This mechanism, based on a vertical axis, allows for maximizing solar radiation capture without the need for complex or costly systems.

Energy autonomy and smart monitoring
The solar towers not only generate electricity: they also have integrated batteries that allow energy storage and work in conjunction with the conventional power grid.
Additionally, they incorporate:

Up to three times more efficiency per square meter
According to the company, this technology can achieve three times more efficiency per square meter than traditional solar panels. Initially conceived for developing countries, it is also highly competitive in industrial and urban environments.
The project has already been internationally recognized: it was the winner of the Airports for Innovation competition, which allowed for testing at Munich Airport and other airports in the A4I network, comprising 10 air terminals.
