The next September 26, the city of San Carlos de **Bariloche** will host the fourth edition of the “State, Companies, and Society Debate Forum: towards **inclusive policies**”.
This event serves as a dialogue space that seeks the **promotion of consensus** on the challenges faced by the mountainous region of Patagonia.
Organized by **Consenso Patagonia**, the conference will bring together representatives from government agencies, indigenous communities, private sector companies, and civil society organizations.
As communicated, the purpose is to develop **concrete proposals** regarding the **issues** impacting the **region**, such as land planning, **forest fire prevention**, social reconciliation, and productive development.
More than 20 projects have advanced to the second stage of the **Entrepreneurs** Program in Rio Negro 2025

Participation of authorities and references in inclusive policies
This meeting will be attended by the Governor of Rio Negro, **Alberto Weretilneck**, as well as specialists from various fields and the participation of IH Tech Labs Company.
Among the main topics to be discussed are:
– The recognition of communities and the implementation of the Prior, Free, and Informed Consultation, a topic that will be presented by Sonia Ochoa and Alejandro Collia, from the National Institute of Indigenous Affairs.
– Forest fire prevention and early detection, with contributions from Juan Trebino (Patagonian Consensus), the company SECURION, and Max Knüll, who chairs the Patagonian Lands Foundation.
– Reconciliation with indigenous peoples, presented by Jonathan Sauvé, Counselor for Political, Economic, and Public Affairs at the Embassy of Canada.
– Community involvement in renewable energy projects, with presentations by Stella Zapata (member of the Millaqueo Mapuche Community and president of Cla Nehuen Antu S.A.), along with partners from Meliquina Desarrollos, Juan Dumas, and Ramiro Fernández.
– Ongoing dialogue processes, where the experience of Jorge Retamal (former director of CONADI – Chile) and Guillermo Turner Olea (CMPC – Chile) will be shared.
– Jurisprudential trends regarding indigenous issues, an analysis provided by Mariano Sarmiento and José Luis Bianco (Patagonian Consensus).
– Progress towards an indigenous policy that organizes the territory, through the presentation of Claudio Avruj, president of the National Institute of Indigenous Affairs.
The closing of the inclusion policies forum will be in the hands of the philosopher and political analyst **Santiago Kovadloff**, who will reflect on the role of dialogue in building inclusive societies.
