On the occasion of the Environmental Awareness Day, the company Zafrán; Honest Recipes, in collaboration with its allied organizations, extends an invitation to everyone to learn about community regeneration directly from nature.
Zafrán is part of 1% For The Planet, an international program that establishes links between companies and environmental organizations in 110 countries. In this context, the company donates 1% of each of its invoices to two civil associations dedicated to promoting a culture and regenerative agriculture: Quinta Esencia and Germinar.
Quinta Esencia – Ecological Literacy for community regeneration
Located in Coronel Vidal (Buenos Aires), Quinta Esencia is a experiential learning center that proposes a deep reflection on our relationship with the planet in a context of climate, social, and cultural crisis.
Its main mission is to train teachers, students, and communities to become agents of change with the capacity to regenerate life.
Through both face-to-face and virtual proposals, the organization offers a transformative and profound environmental education. This approach covers from the understanding of the fundamental principles that sustain life to their practical application in classrooms, organizations, and projects.
For them, the first step towards creating regenerative cultures consists of learning to think as nature does: in cycles, networks, and cooperation.
For the end of the year, the organization presents three open training sessions to the public:
- October (online modality): Introduction to Ecological Literacy, by Christian Tiscornia.
- November (face-to-face modality): Social Permaculture: designing regenerative human relationships, with Christian Tiscornia, Analía Ladisa, and Ronald Sistek.
- December (face-to-face modality): Regenerative Diploma in Agriculture, Livestock, and Apiculture, in collaboration with @lamierdadevaca, @elmateganaderiaregenerativa, and @apiculturanaturalregenerativa.
Germinar – Community Regeneration
Based in Escobar (Buenos Aires), the Civil Association Germinar has over a decade of experience promoting environmental awareness through direct action. In their space, people learn from nature how to regenerate in community, fostering the creation of healthy relationships between people and ecosystems.
Through their program “Regenerating in Community”, they empower individuals and organizations to take on the role of guardians of nature, designing healthy spaces and restoring the vitality of living beings.
In parallel, their axis “Educating for Sustainability” collaborates with schools and educational communities with the aim of reconnecting with nature and revaluing green spaces. The association offers training, workshops, and experiences designed to shape a critical and committed environmental citizenship.
Among their offerings are workshops on composting, creating butterfly gardens, conscious eating, and responsible consumption, all with a clear focus on rebuilding connections with the essential.
Germinar NGO also opens its doors to those who wish to participate in its volunteering program. Those who join not only acquire knowledge about regenerative practices but also experience the well-being that comes from contact with the earth and the sense of community.
Volunteering is also an environment where friendships flourish and new collective projects are born.
