March is the Month of B Corporations worldwide, and this year the campaign is celebrated under the motto “A simple letter, a great meaning”.
The B certification has become a symbol of commitment to people, the planet, and continuous improvement, and in Argentina, the tourism sector stands out as one of the most dynamic within the movement.
Impact Tourism in Argentina
Currently, the country has 45 certified proposals in gastronomy, tourism and experiences:
- 17 restaurants.
- 16 tourism companies.
- 9 wineries.
- 2 accommodations.
- 1 nature reserve.
Mendoza leads with 22 options, followed by the City of Buenos Aires (8) and the Province of Buenos Aires (5). There are also experiences in Salta, Río Negro, Neuquén, Santa Fe, Mar del Plata, and La Rioja.
Boomerang Viajes: An Emblematic Case
Founded by sisters Bettina and Paula González, Boomerang Viajes celebrates 25 years of experience this year and has been certified as a B Corporation since 2019. The agency has developed community tourism products in regions such as NOA, Misiones, and the Gran Chaco, training 297 tourism agents on impact topics. Additionally, it integrates the Charis Foundation, which manages the Chiara Lubich school in José C. Paz.
According to Bettina González, the B certification is an international trust seal that positions the agency as a transparent and verified provider. In 2025, their sales in the corporate segment grew by 60%, reflecting the demand from companies seeking to strengthen their value chain under triple impact criteria.

Competitiveness and Resilience
For Marina Arias, Executive Director of Sistema B Argentina, sustainable tourism is a great opportunity in a country with so much natural wealth and social diversity. “Boomerang Viajes demonstrates that companies can be agents of change: they see tourism as a redistribution tool, work collaboratively, educate, and engage with their community,” she noted.
Argentina in the Global Movement
With 292 B Corporations, Argentina is the tenth country in the world and the second in Latin America with the most certified organizations.
These companies generate more than 45,700 jobs, have an annual turnover of US$ 5.7 billion, and cover 30 sectors. Besides tourism, B2B and B2G services, food and beverages, technology, and textiles stand out. Globally, there are 10,700 B Corporations in 104 countries.
The Future of Tourism
According to Oxford Economics, tourism will grow above the global economy in the next ten years. For Bettina González, this is an opportunity to demonstrate that sustainable tourism can generate a virtuous circle that benefits everyone.
“Tourism with a positive impact is no longer a niche. Today, travelers seek authentic experiences, connection with communities, and conservation destinations. We accompany them to travel consciously, preserving the environment and valuing local culture,” she explained.
Tools for Conscious Travelers
For those who want to explore the proposals, Sistema B Argentina published the Mendoza B Route, a guide with options for wineries, restaurants, and tourist experiences. The rest of the certified companies can be consulted in the Argentina B Corporations Catalog.
The growth of sustainable tourism and the advancement of B Corporations in Argentina show that triple impact is no longer a trend but a strategy of competitiveness and resilience. With cases like Boomerang Viajes, the country positions itself as a regional leader in a global movement that is redefining the way of doing business and traveling.
