The British company **Powerhouse Energy Group** has developed a revolutionary technology that converts **plastic waste into clean hydrogen** through pyrolysis. The pilot project, called **Feedstock Testing Unit (FTU)**, allows for the transformation of up to 2.5 tons of plastic per day, replicating on a smaller scale the processes that will be implemented in commercial facilities with the capacity to process 35 tons daily in the future. This system produces a **syngas** (synthesis gas) rich in hydrogen, along with **methane and carbon monoxide**, which can be refined for multiple energy applications.
