Authorities from **National Parks and the province of Chubut** have started a plan for improvements to **promote tourism in protected areas** of the province. The objective is to ensure the safety of visitors and the care of the spaces.
This marks the beginning of an **evaluation and organization plan** for all activities carried out in protected areas.
## Tourism in protected areas of Chubut: the improvement plan
In the case of **Los Alerces National Park**, an ambitious improvement plan has been started with the Province, which includes the renovation of infrastructure, regularization of **tourist services**, and the creation of new circuits to enjoy nature **safely and sustainably**.
Within this framework, they highlighted the enhancement of the iconic **Route 40** and the monitoring of service providers.
The goal of the APN is for more and more people to be able to visit and enjoy the Park, while strengthening the conservation and protection of native flora and fauna.
“We are focused on working together to **enhance and exalt each National Park**, promoting the development of quality tourist activities. But this goal is not achieved at any cost,” stated the president of National Parks, **Cristian Larsen**.
“We will not allow the integrity of visitors or workers to be put at risk. Therefore, if we detect that any action is outside our parameters of **safety and quality, it will be disabled**,” he emphasized.
The organization continues to work so that more and more people visit protected areas and to **preserve the natural and cultural heritage** of the country, ensuring that enjoyment is of quality and with the necessary measures for an unforgettable experience.
