Ferrari marks a new chapter in its technological evolution with the launch of the hybrid models 849 Testarossa and its convertible version, the 849 Testarossa Spider.
Both models share a high-performance hybrid architecture, inspired by the SF90 Stradale, but with an aesthetic reinterpretation that pays homage to the legacy of the 1984 Testarossa, without replicating it.
Hybrid Powertrain: Extreme Performance with Ferrari DNA
The new Testarossa incorporates a 3,990 cm³ twin-turbo V8 engine, capable of delivering 830 HP, complemented by three electric motors (one rear and two front) that add 220 additional HP, reaching a total power of 1,050 HP.
This configuration allows it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 2.3 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 330 km/h.
Technologies derived from Formula 1, such as the MGU-K system, contribute to energy regeneration, all-wheel drive, and torque vectoring, optimizing dynamics in any driving condition.
Ferrari 849 Testarossa Coupé: Active Aerodynamics and Total Connectivity
The coupé model integrates aerodynamic flicks and an active spoiler that generate 415 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, improving cooling by 15% for the powertrain and brakes.
The steering wheel retains iconic mechanical controls, while the HMI system has been redesigned to facilitate access to key functions and enhance connectivity with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless charging.
In terms of safety, it includes advanced brakes, stability management, and the optional Assetto Fiorano package, which reduces weight by 30 kg and enhances track performance.

Ferrari 849 Testarossa Spider: Top-down Comfort and Intelligent Aerodynamics
The retractable roof and wind deflector enhance the open driving experience.
The Spider stands out for its Retractable Hard Top (RHT), which unfolds in 14 seconds even while in motion (up to 45 km/h). The wind stop system channels air beneath the cockpit, reducing turbulence and enhancing comfort. Specific suspensions ensure stability in any configuration.
The rear design incorporates an aerodynamic bridge that directs airflow to the spoiler and the luggage compartment, equalizing the downforce of the coupé. Both models do away with conventional joints, using die-casting to improve aerodynamic efficiency.

Onboard Technology and Sensory Experience
Configurable digital dashboard, driving modes, and tailored acoustics for each version.
The system allows for choosing between four driving modes: eDrive, Hybrid, Performance, and Qualify. Additionally, MyFerrari Connect offers remote vehicle monitoring.
In the Spider, the acoustics of the cockpit have been calibrated to preserve the Ferrari sound even in open driving.
Launch and Estimated Price
The name 849 refers to the 8 cylinders and 499 cm³ per cylinder. Deliveries are scheduled for April 2026 for the coupé version, and the second semester for the Spider. The estimated price will be 450,000 euros for the coupé and 500,000 euros for the convertible.
