Building better and caring for the planet is possible: new, more efficient and ecological construction methods

Choosing how to build a home no longer depends solely on budget, but on considering energy efficiency, construction speed, and environmental impact. In Argentina, the steel frame system leads as an increasingly popular and sustainable alternative.

This method, based on galvanized steel structures and integrated insulation, allows for up to a 60% reduction in thermal losses compared to traditional methods. Additionally, it shortens construction times and reduces costs by up to 15% per square meter compared to conventional masonry.

Reinforced concrete remains a reliable option due to its structural solidity, but its low thermal efficiency leaves it behind if not accompanied by proper insulating enclosures. On the other hand, well-insulated container homes represent an economical and quick option, especially in urban areas.

The key in all systems lies in good thermal insulation. Incorporating materials such as glass wool, EPS, or polyurethane can reduce energy consumption by up to 30%, benefiting both the wallet and the environment.

Eco-friendly Materials: Allies of Comfort and the Planet

The trend towards sustainable construction also promotes the use of eco-friendly materials. These not only reduce the environmental impact from their manufacturing but also improve the home’s energy efficiency and are recyclable or reusable.

Among the most used in modern constructions are recycled galvanized steel from the steel frame and SIP panels, which combine structure and insulation into one product, optimizing resources. Also noteworthy are cork, certified wood, and modernized adobe, which provide thermal comfort and low environmental impact.

Additionally, the use of double hermetic glazing (DVH) in openings, solvent-free paints, green roofs, and rainwater collection systems, complete a comprehensive approach aimed at more efficient, healthy, and environmentally responsible homes.

Ecology and Innovation in Construction

Building with eco-friendly materials does not necessarily mean paying more. On the contrary, the savings in energy and long-term maintenance more than compensate for the initial investment, positioning this option as a logical and conscious response to the climate crisis.

More and more families, architects, and developers are opting for these types of solutions. The future of housing in Argentina is no longer measured solely in square meters, but in sustainability, efficiency, and respect for the planet.
