Every May 17, driven by UNESCO, the World Recycling Day is commemorated, a day aimed at raising awareness about the importance of waste separation and caring for the environment.
In this context, the City of Buenos Aires reinforces its commitment to an active recycling policy through a wide network of Green Points distributed across all the Communes.
Green Points in the City
Residents can bring recyclable materials such as paper, cardboard, glass, metal, and plastic, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable city. Additionally, there are Mobile Green Points that travel through different neighborhoods to facilitate community participation.
Service Hours
- Wednesday to Friday: from 2 PM to 7 PM.
- Saturdays and Sundays: from 12 PM to 5 PM.
- Outside of hours: recyclables can be left at designated drop-off points 24 hours a day.
