On its tenth anniversary, Tropical Argentina launched the 10th edition of Fruteá Tu Escuela, the national contest that invites educational institutions from across the country to experience healthy eating in a playful, creative, and participatory way.
The initiative, framed within Corporate Social Responsibility, seeks to transform classrooms into spaces where learning about nutrition is also fun.
The nutritional context in Argentina
The proposal arises in a critical scenario: childhood and adolescence face the so-called “double burden of malnutrition”, where overweight and obesity coexist with severe nutrient deficiencies.
- 98% of children have low fiber intake.
- 52% have a vitamin C deficiency.
- More than 80% of lunches and dinners include sugary drinks.
In this context, initiatives like Fruteá Tu Escuela aim to bridge nutritional gaps by promoting the consumption of fruits in schools.
The 2026 challenge: “Passionately Fruity”
In this anniversary edition, teams from Preschool, Primary, and Secondary levels must:
- Create an original video of 15 to 90 seconds.
- Interpret the official jingle “One a Day” by Tropical Argentina, freely adapting it.
- Student protagonism: children and adolescents will be the main actors.
- Digital participation: teachers will upload the videos to YouTube and submit the link on the official website.

Selection of winners
Nine national teams will be selected (three per educational level):
- Two teams by a specialized jury.
- One by public vote on the official website.
The jury will evaluate originality, emotional impact, clarity of message, and federal representation. Results will be announced in September at a virtual event.
Prizes for the entire school community
The success of a team translates into collective benefits:
- Monthly fresh fruit for the entire school during the 2027 school year.
- School kits and books for the members of the winning teams.
- Laptops for responsible teachers, enhancing their pedagogical work.
- Handcrafted smocks for Preschool and Primary teachers.
Registrations and materials
Registrations are open until July 6, 2026 at www.fruteatuescuela.com.ar. Additionally, teachers can access free educational materials to work on the topic in the classroom.
Fruteá Tu Escuela celebrates 10 years as a national educational and social program, which not only encourages fruit consumption but also strengthens creativity, teamwork, and awareness of the importance of healthy eating.
