The Soberana Fair, promoted by the Free Chair of Family Agriculture and Food Sovereignty of the Faculty of Social Sciences of UNLZ, is establishing itself as a meeting space between family producers and committed consumers.
Its main objective is to promote agroecological practices, strengthen the popular economy, and encourage a healthy and sustainable diet.
Fresh products, local knowledge, and short circuits
The fair is held periodically in Guernica, with the support of productive organizations and Presidente Perón Municipality. In its stalls, you can find:
- Seasonal agroecological vegetables
- Cheeses, eggs, cold cuts, and homemade preserves
- Honey, propolis, and beekeeping products
- Ornamental plants and red worms
- Natural cosmetics and personal care products
- Artisanal beer and small-scale regional foods
Additionally, open workshops and participatory talks on food sovereignty, agroecological techniques, sustainable production, and community health are held, creating a space for training, exchange, and collective action.
