In the heart of **Salto Encantado (Misiones)**, the **Reverdecer Biofactory** is establishing itself as a comprehensive model of [sustainable production](https://noticiasambientales.com/medio-ambiente/realidad-o-ficcion-el-invernadero-flotante-de-noruega-que-pretendia-transformar-la-produccion-sostenible/) that transforms waste, managed by the **Civil Association Mujeres Soñadoras**.
The venture combines **regenerative agriculture**, **waste recycling**, **gender equality**, and **community development**, with a strong **local roots**.
## Bioinputs for agroecological transition
Compost, bocashi, biofertilizers, and potassium soap to [recover soils](https://noticiasambientales.com/medio-ambiente/plantas-para-limpiar-el-suelo-y-el-agua-contaminados-como-es-la-fitorremediacion-que-implementan-en-entre-rios/) and protect biodiversity.
The biofactory produces a variety of **natural fertilizers** that replace the use of **synthetic agrochemicals**, including:
– Compost and bocashi (anaerobic fermentation of organic waste)
– Liquid and solid biofertilizers
– Potassium soap and ash broth
These inputs are marketed in **local farms certified as agroecological** or in transition, contributing to the **recovery of degraded soils** and the **strengthening of biodiversity**.

## Own technology and waste utilization
A **self-propelled turner** allows the production of 50 tons of bocashi every 15 days.
Reverdecer uses **agricultural, forestry, urban, and industrial waste** —such as **rock dust** and **ashes from the paper industry**— to produce high-quality inputs. This process avoids:
– Incineration of forestry waste
– Abandonment of arid waste such as basalt
– Pollution from synthetic agrochemicals
“We reclaim soils, but also links and leadership,” says **Claudia Kozakzek**, president of Mujeres Soñadoras.
## Social inclusion and gender equity as pillars of the model
The project generates **green employment**, economic autonomy, and community participation.
The biofactory promotes the **permanence of families in rural areas** with sustainable economic opportunities. From its comprehensive approach, it also **revalues the role of women** in food production and organizational management.
“Agroecological transition is not only technical: it is a social transformation,” explain the organization.
## Academic recognition and international projection
Finalist of the DINN Fund and in the process of **product registration at SENASA**.
The project’s impact was highlighted at the **42nd Argentine Congress of Horticulture**, where positive results of using bioinputs versus chemical fertilizers were presented.
In addition, Reverdecer was a **finalist of the Innovation Challenge Fund for the Northern Region (DINN)**, supported by the **European Union** and the **NGO [Redes Chaco](https://redeschaco.org/)**.
Currently, the biofactory is working on the **registration of its products at SENASA**, which will allow it to **access new national and international markets**.
## Somos Red: replicating the model in other territories
A network of local promoters seeks to adapt the experience to different **productive realities**.
Reverdecer is part of the **Somos Red** consortium, which promotes the **replication of the model** in other locations, strengthening **social fabric**, **climate resilience**, and **economic independence of women and youth**.
