In this context, the locality of Adrogué, in the Almirante Brown district, was the venue for a meeting that brought together producers, scientists, and institutions with the aim of advancing towards a regulatory framework to promote the activity.

Moreover, the event highlighted the growing interest in this emerging sector. Throughout the day, more than a thousand people participated in the “La Funga, Ostras y Sombreros” Mushroom Festival, consolidating a space for exchange between technical knowledge, local production, and community.

One of the central themes of the meeting was the need for clear rules. Consequently, it was proposed to advance in legislation that provides predictability to an activity with high economic and environmental potential.
