Zafrán and Cocoliche: two B Corporations join forces to amplify the message of responsible consumption

Zafrán Honest Recipes and Cocoliche Clothes with Another Opportunity join forces to bring benefits to their community.

Throughout March, the month of B Corporations, from their websites, social networks, and physical stores, they will carry out commercial actions together to promote responsible consumption and raise awareness about the impact on how we dress and eat.

In this way, they join more than 10,000 companies worldwide that are united to amplify a message: through our consumption, all people are agents of change. Dressing and eating are part of the same conversation: how we consume impacts the world.

“The union of Zafrán and Cocoliche has a clear objective: to promote a way of consuming with positive impact. In the case of circular fashion, the reuse of garments generates a smaller amount of highly polluting textile waste.

The circular economy, in that sense, is the opposite of the linear economy, which is characterized by a strong demand for virgin raw materials, outsourcing of socio-environmental costs, and which encourages the reduction of garment usage time, with the consequent increase in the carbon footprint,” stated Brenda Andersen and Constanza Darderes, founders of Cocoliche.

For his part, Nito Anello, co-founder of Zafrán, highlighted that: “We are part of a movement that seeks to transform the way of doing business, advancing by measuring and improving its socio-environmental impact.

Zafrán exists to improve the world through nutrition that nourishes, generates inclusive work, and regenerates the land. And this purpose lives in the everyday: in care, in honesty, in the desire to improve, and in the commitment to do things right.

We move forward with many imperfections, but always encouraging another way of eating, another agriculture, and another culture, with life at the center.”
