The Deliberative Council of Pomán (Catamarca) has declared the area **”Salto de las Golondrinas”** as a **municipal natural reserve**.
Located 7 kilometers from the main square of Pomán Village, this place is ideal for direct contact with nature and **animal watching**.
## Importance of the Municipal Natural Reserve
Decree 003/2023 declares Salto de las Golondrinas as the first municipal protected area, especially for hosting the Swift species of bird. The Tourism and Environment departments of the municipality will be responsible for organizing actions to protect this habitat.
## Conservation Rules
The rule **prohibits dumping garbage and toxic substances** in the protected area. It also prohibits the removal of natural elements such as rocks, plants, and cacti.
Local guides will be responsible for raising awareness among tourists about these measures.
## Visitor Guidelines
Visitors will be instructed to enjoy the landscape without climbing on the rock formations, which will be properly signposted. It is forbidden to enter with alcoholic beverages, smoke, or engage in immoral acts. Non-compliance with these rules will result in sanctions or fines.
