Graduates of the Diploma in Agroecology received their diplomas at a ceremony held at the University Extension Center, in collaboration with the Arturo Jauretche National University and the Union of Land Workers.
The mayor of San Vicente, Nicolás Mantegazza, participated in the awarding of certificates to students who graduated from the Diploma in Agroecology, accompanied by the Secretary of Policy and Territory of the Arturo Jauretche University, Julián Dércoli, as well as by the teacher and representative of the Union of Land Workers, Agustín Suárez.
This academic proposal was delivered at the University Extension Center in collaboration with the Arturo Jauretche National University and the Union of Land Workers.
During the event, the municipal chief highlighted the importance of strengthening educational policies that bring new training opportunities to the community.

In this regard, he stated that “this is a program made possible by a political decision of the provincial government and by a municipality that prioritizes education”.
He also emphasized the value of promoting proposals that link knowledge with local development and environmental care.
“We must build and care for our community because we do not understand the growth of our city with positive development unless it is hand in hand with work and caring for the environment”, he expressed.
The students received their diplomas after completing this training aimed at promoting sustainable productive practices and strengthening local development with a committed perspective on the production of healthy food.

The diploma is part of the Bridges Program, an initiative that seeks to expand access to higher education in the district and generate new training opportunities for the residents of San Vicente.
During the day, academic and teaching representatives of the program were also present, accompanying the graduates in this important achievement.
“We celebrate this moment where the agreement allows public and free education to be firmly and vibrantly present in San Vicente”, concluded Mantegazza.
